
MEN’S BASKETBALL IS HEADED TO THE USCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Knights will enter the USCAA nationals as the 9th seed.
Randolph Center, VT: Less than 24 hours after suffering a loss in the Yankee Conference Championship game, the Knights waited to hear if their name would be called for a chance to go compete for a national championship in Buffalo, NY. With a lot of anticipation in the room the USCAA Presidents finally announced "coming in as the 9th seed, from Randolph, VT, the Vermont State University- Randolph Knights". Relief and excitement erupted from the men's basketball team as they will get to go to the big dance. The Knights will face #8 seed and the defending national champions Penn State- Wilkes Barre in the first round. The winner will advance to the quarterfinals. " I am very excited for my guys. A lot of people counted us out, but I knew we had something special." Coach Hughes said. " I am glad we get to go represent the town of Randolph. We will take it one game at a time and see what happens."
