Brandon Matano Named YSCC Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Randolph Center, VT - This week, the Yankee Small College Conference selected Brandon Matano (Jr./Honolulu, HI) as its men's basketball player of the week. This is Brandon's first such honor.
Matano aided the Knights in compiling a 3-0 week with wins over the University of Maine-Machias, Southern Maine Community College and Paul Smith's College. All wins were within the YSCC. Matano averaged 18 points, shot 55% from the field and 40% from beyond the 3-point arc. Besides just scoring, he also scontributed 2 assists per game while only committing 4 turnovers total amongst the three games.
