Women's soccer leads Vermont Tech student-athletes with academic honors
Vermont Tech Varsity student-athletes took home a variety of honors on both the conference and national levels in the past week.
Fall athletes were led by senior men's soccer player Phil Hepburn, who was honored as a first team USCAA All-American, as well as Yankee Small College Conference Player of the Year, receiving the most votes for All-Conference in the YSCC.
Joining Phil from the men's soccer team with both National and Conference accolades were freshman Mikell McKenzie, who earned second team USCAA All-American as well as YSCC All-Conference, and senior Dave Mattern who earned honorable mention USCAA All-American, USCAA All-Academic Team, as well as YSCC All-Conference honors.
Men's Soccer coach Matt Murawski also got in on the Conference awards, winning the Coach of the Year award in the YSCC.
In addition to men's soccer, many of our athletes were recognized as USCAA Academic All-Americans through their dedication to school work while competing as an athlete. Fall student-athletes named to the USCAA Academic All-American Team include:

Kirstin Ward – Women's Soccer
