NHTI Women's Soccer Too Strong for Lady Knights
Although tied for the majority of the first half, NHTI broke open the game with a goal at the 12:12 mark and never looked back. After that first score they added a second at 4:49, and then, only 22 seconds later, a third to make the score 3-0 going into halftime. NHTI tacked on another 3 goals in the second half to set the final outcome at 6-0. The major problem for the Knights was a lack of offense, as the stout defense of NHTI held them to only 2 shots on goal. VTC Senior Goal Keeper Abbie Senesac (Williston, VT) had 7 saves in the game.
NHTI is now 3-3, 2-1, while the Lady Knights are 1-6, 1-4. NHTI next plays at home versus U-Maine Augusta at noon on Saturday the 24th. The Women of VTC next play on the road at SUNY-Canton on Saturday, September 24 at 1pm.
