Women's Soccer Team Rebuilding
Vermont Tech retains 2 key players
The Vermont Tech Women's Soccer team has some rebuilding to do. After losing 8 starters to graduation, head coach Jenn Norton-Magnan has been doing a lot of recruiting in the off-season.
The two key returning players will provide the backbone for the season and will need to bring the team together to have a successful season. Goalkeeper Abbie Senesac returns after a great season last year and hopes to improve on her performance. Forward Ashley Lockerby will be looked to for strong leadership on the field as well as netting the ball as much as posible.
With twelve new faces playing this season, the team still looks to improve on thier winning record from last season.
The Women's Soccer season kicks off on Saturday, September 3 at Johnson State College at 3pm.
