Lady Knights win easily despite ending game with three players.
Jojo Morris matched her season average scoring 32 points and rounding out the double-double adding 20 rebounds.
The Lady Knight's continue to roll, stifling the visiting Linx (2-2) from the New Hampshire Technical Institute, (76-66). With the win, the Lady Knights move to 5-3 and a perfect 3-0 at home and moving up a spot, (4th) in the conference standings. The Lady Knight's needed every ounce of heart and hustle to come away with the game. Huge contributions form Jordanna Morris, matching her season average (32.1) scoring 32 points and rounding out the double-double adding 20 rebounds. As well as fellow junior transfer, Gabrielle Norwood earned a double-double of her own scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. Junior guard and hometown favorite Mariah Rilling matched season average dropping in 14 points and 4 rebounds.
Coach Miller stated, " Every player played with everything they had. They all understood that each game has several battles and we have to win those battles. We took a step closer to our goals. Each battle we win makes us a stronger unit. We will start to trust one another as well as not wanting to let each other down." "I'm truly proud of their effort tonight. There were several battles that we didn't win but each of them were determined to win the next one."
The Lady Knight's will get a much needed 2 days to prepare for the next conference match-up against the visiting Rams (1-4) of Unity College on Saturday, December 1st at 1:00 PM.
