Lady Knights drop 2 games over the weekend.
The Vermont Tech Women's Basketball team traveled to Auburn Maine to face the University of Maine August and Central Maine. On Saturday, the Lady Knights faced UMA in a tough battle ending in a 64-71 loss.

Jordanna Morris led the team with nearly a quadruple-double with 23 points 22 rebounds 8 assists and 9 steals. Gabby Norwood added 23 points and Mariah Rilling added 11 points playing all 40 mins.
Head Women's Coach Davon Miller was happy with the Lady Knights scoring but not so much on the defensive end.
"We still have to put 4 solid quarters together on the defensive end. We have to dictate the pace as well as forcing teams to play uncomfortable in the half court.".
The Lady Knights followed up Saturday's performance with a lopsided loss to Central Maine. In a game that had a stifling 44 turnovers, and 3 players fouling out, it was clear that the Lady Knights didn't have their legs under them.
Coach Miller was proud of his team's preparation for the game against the 2017-18 YCSS champions but not so happy with the execution.
"The ladies failed to execute a well-scouted plan. We had 27 turnovers at halftime and CMCC only scored 48 points in the first half.", said Coach Miller. "We need to value the basketball from start to finish."
