WOMEN'S SOCCER PICKS UP FIRST WIN
Randolph VT: On Sunday, the Vermont State University Randolph Knights women's soccer team pulled out a gutsy win as they took on Hampshire College. After a scoreless first half from both teams, Hampshire's Joli Miller scored in the 56th minutes to give Hampshire a 1-0 lead. VTSU Randolph quickly responded with two quick goals, both by Jasmine Mooney to take a 2-1 lead. The Knights stellar defense down the stretch was enough to hold off an aggressive Hampshire team to claim the win. The Knights move to 1-1 in conference play. They travel to play Vermont State Univeristy Lyndon Campus on Wednesday.
