BADGERS TOO MUCH FOR THE KNIGHTS
Johnson, VT: Vermont State University Randolph Knights women's soccer team traveled to Johnson, VT to take on in-state rival, Vermont State University Johnson Badgers. The Badgers got off to a fast start scoring two goals in the first 5 minutes of the game. Those goals set the tone for the Badgers as they scored 7 first half goals to put the game out of reach. The short handed Knights showed a concerted effort in the 2nd half holding VTSU- Johnson to only 2 goals. Although the Knights picked up the defense in the second half, they were still unable to get on the scoreboard and lost 9-0.
The loss drops the VTSU Randolph Campus to 0-2. The Knights look to pick up their first win on Saturday when they travel to Word of Life. Game starts at 2:00PM.
