The Vermont Tech women's soccer team traveled to Auburn, Me to take on the Lady Mustangs. After a very strong defensive effort in the first half, the Lady Knights gave up 4 goals in the 2nd half and lost 5-0.
The Knights spent most of the afternoon on defense, due to the Mustangs' high powered offense. The Mustangs sent a flurry of goal attempts at the Knights, but goalie Zoe Corey and the Knights strong defensice presence only allowed 1 in the whole first half.
The depth of CM wore the Knights down in the end, scoring 4 goals within the first 20 minutes of the second half.
Knights netminder Zoe Corey finished the game with 19 saves.
The Knights host Paul Smith in the final regular season game on Saturday.
