Randolph, VT - On an evening of poor shooting and foul trouble, the Lady Knights fall the 7th ranked North Country Saints 30-81. "Poor individual shot selection played a big part in our loss this evening." Coach Miller stated. "Put simply, the players are taking the wrong shots because the players are showing poor judgment in shot selection." "We lacked enough fast break and primary transition point mainly due to the lack of a dominant floor general as well as lacking the commitment to improving individual shooting percentage." "I am confident we will bounce back, we always do. We don't coach basketball here we mentor and guide student-athletes as well. My job is to empower these young ladies to have the courage to do what the never dreamed they can do."
The loss didn't effect their place in the conference standings, in fact, they climbed back to the 4 spot. Winning the last two remaining conference games will solidify a first-round home game in the YSCC conference championship tourney in a likely matchup vs NHTI.
