Women's Basketball Season Comes to an End in the YSCC Final Four

Vermont Tech was no match for CMCC YSCC Player of the Year Susie French who led the way with 30 points and six steals.
This was the first time in ten years the Women's basketball program has made it to the YSCC Final Four after a strong win over St. Joe's (VT) on Thursday, the Lady Knights were than faced with the number 1 seed of the tournament and undefeated CMCC team at 15-0 in the conference.
The Lady Mustangs came out strong out scoring the Knights 16-2 in the first five minutes of the game. CMCC kept the pace going as they pulled away with the win to advance to the Championship Game on Sunday.
Vermont Tech was led by Junior Paige Wells (Orleans, VT) who dominated the boards with a game-high 20 points while scoring 18 points. Senior Ama Baker (Fitchburg, MA) led the Knights in scoring with 21 points and six assists.
