Senior Rebecca Broadbent named YSCC Player of the Week for Women's Cross Country

In the first week of awards for the 2017 season, Vermont Tech Senior Rebecca Broadbent (North Dighton, MA) was honored as the Women's Cross Country Player of the Week for the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC).  on September 9th, Rebecca set a Vermont Tech 5K record, meet record and a lifetime personal best 5K in 19:27, finishing 4th place racing against Middlebury and SNHU. She is the team captain who has done all the workouts given to her for the past four months. According to her coach, Bob Dunkle, "Rebecca trains hard, and works with the younger runners to build confidence and training. She is really a great example of team player."
