The Knights' men's soccer team traveled to Auburn, ME to take on the Mustangs of Central Maine CC who entered this conference matchup undefeated. The Knights held CM scoreless for the first 17 minutes of the game with stellar defense, but then CM'S Sasah Bruno broke the tie to give the Mustangs a 1-0 lead.
The Mustangs had a series of corner kicks, testing the Knights defense, and eventually scored again with 24 minutes into the half.
Despite a great 1st half defensive effort, the Knights succumbed to CM'S offensive pressure in the second half giving up 3 goals and losing 5-0.
Vermont Tech goalie Thomas Ferguson had 12 crucial saves to keep the Knights in the game.
The Knights will host Paul Smith in the final regular season game next Saturday.
