Nick Simpson named NAIA Sunrise Conference Player of the Week

Player of the Week – Nick Simpson (Sr., Guard, Vermont Technical College)

            Simpson is honored this week after two stellar performances in a pair of wins for the Green Knights.  The senior guard from Bay City, Mich. averaged 28 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists while shooting 57 percent from the field.  Simpson dropped in 26 points and sank the game-winning shot at the buzzer to beat Fisher College 96-94.  He also had 30 points, nine rebounds and six assists in a 96-63 win over Green Mountain College.
