Green Knights Baseball drops the first spring game to Holyoke Community College

The Vermont Tech baseball team opened thier spring season with a tough 4-2 loss Thursday afternoon to Holyoke Community College on the HCC Cougar Field in Holyoke, MA.

Holyoke took the lead, and the Green Kights had the opportunity to tie it up on a long drive just inside the fence by Reed Brown with a runner on first.  The ball was handled and then went out of bounds, and the hit was ruled a doubled, leaving runners on second and third to end the inning.

Vermont Tech travels to SUNY/Canton this weekend to take on the Kangaroos in a double header on both Saturday and Sunday.
